Langtang Trekking

 

This region is easy to access from Kathmandu. It offers many features that range from culture to adventure. The views are unforgettable and the trails are less crowded. The people are friendly and interesting. The Helambhu-Gosainkunda trek takes you to Gosainkunda Lake - a sacred site for devotees of the Hindu God Shiva. It is famous for both trekking and pilgrimage. Discover traditional villages and untouched forest on the route towards the peaks of Langtang.

Langtang-Gosaikunda Trek (18 days)

Day 1.

Arrival in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2.

Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley.Overnight at hotel

Day 3.

Drive Kathmandu (1350m) to Syabru Besi (1462m) by Jeep / Mini bus, via Trisuli Bazaar – Dhunche. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 4.

Trek to Lama Hotel (2581m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 5.

Trek to Langtang Village (3307m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 6.

Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3800m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 7.

Tserko Ri (5033m) climbing or hiking around hidden valley. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 8.

Trek back to Lama Hotel. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 9.

Trek to Syabru village (2390m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10.

Trek to Sing Gompa (3350m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 11.

Trek to Gosaikunda (4381m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12.

Crossing Lauribinayak Pass (4609m) and trek to Ghopte (3430m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 13.

Trek to Tharepati (2500m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 14.

Trek to Kutumsang (1850m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 15.

Trek to Chisopani (2134m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 16.

Trek to Sundarijal (1300m), and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at  hotel

Day 17.

Last day to explore Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

Day 18.

Transfer to airport

 

Helembu Trek (10 Days)


Day 1.

Arrival in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2.

Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at hotel

Day 3.

Drive Kathmandu to Sundarijal and trek to Chisopani (2300m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 4.

Chisopani to Khutumsang (2470m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 5.

Khutumsang to Tharepati (3490m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 6.

Tharepati to Tarke Gyang (2620m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 7.

Tarke Ghyang to Sermathang (2620m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 8.

Rest day & Explore local village & culture. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 9.

Sermathang to Malemchi Pul Bazaar (846m) and drive back to Kathmadu. Overnight at hotel

Day 10.

Transfer to airport
