Langtang region is popular for trekking in northern Nepal to the Tibetan border.

Langtang trek route goes through traditional, ethnic villages and untouched forests on the way to the peaks of Langtang-Lirung. Helambu Village Trekking
Helambu is popular among the trekkers for its scenery and favorable climate. Located about 72 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, it extends from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal. There we meet several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages, scattered on both sides of the Malemchi Khola.
The Langtang valley is aptly called " the valley of glaciers". Here the mountain-scape is spectacular. On either side of valley, mountains rise, soaring into the sky. The valley offers pine forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primulas. Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trekking
Combination of three beautiful treks taking us straight into some of the wildest and most picturesque areas of Nepal. Starting from the lovely hill town of Syabrubensi our trek winds through beautiful rhododendron and conifer forests through the Langtang National Park on the way to higher slopes. The route then leads up to the high alpine yak pastures, glaciers and moraines around Kyangin. The trail enters rhododendron forest and climbs up to alpine yak pastures at Ngegang (4404 m). Gatlang Tamang Village Trekking

Ganja la Pass trekking is one another attraction in the Langtang region. Ganja la pass trekking starts from Sybru Bensi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, you follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanjin Gompa (3,049 m), where there is a small Buddhist monastery and a cheese factory initiated 1955 by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance. On the way, you can have spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Tibetan peaks and other mountains. You have a rest at Kyanjin Gompa for about a day for acclimatization.
