Tent Peak

Tharpu Chuli is very popular and known as Tent peak which is located in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. This attractive and beautiful peak looks like a tent with white snow on the top. It is standing to the south from the glacier dome including Singu Chuli peak in same line. The summit offers a spectacular view of the Machhapuchhre and Annapurna mountains. The peak was renamed as Tent Peak by Jimmy Roberts in 1956.
